Chemical Peels

Similar to any other chemical peel application, we cleanse the skin and apply the formula. Strength is generally based on the severity of your acne or pigmentation. Many of our facials and peels also use a combination of salicylic acid and glycolic acid. These acids main purpose is the treatment of acne by cleansing the skin, resurfacing acne bumps & blemishes, and penetrating deep into the skin to kill harmful bacteria and other irritants that can cause acne. There are many other benefits that come with having a peel done such as treatment for pigmentation and skin discoloration, age and sun spots, and glowing skin!

How many sessions will I need?

Depending on the severity of your skin condition and desired results, the amount of sessions can be discussed during your consultation. Normally patients will receive 2-3 sessions for maximum results.

The duration of the sessions:

Each chemical peel session can be completed in under an hour. However, if you are combining other treatments with your chemical peel such as microdermabrasion or facial contouring, then your appointment will be extended.
